PROJECT MANAGEMENT BEST PRACTICES
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This three-days Project Management – Professional Best Practices module provides participants with the more widely-recognized and globally acceptable knowledge and approach towards managing complex projects. Unique features of this course include case studies, exercises and other tools to help participants to understand and practice Project Management at work.
The course is aligned to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The course may be taken as a pre-cursor to taking the PMP® certification exam.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
- Anyone responsible for managing, leading, coordinating, and working on projects or wanting to obtain real exposure of practical, formal project management methods
- Any project-driven individuals with the desire to know more on the project management competency
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Participants are introduce to the Project Management knowledge areas and processes for managing all kinds of projects. Through this course, participants will obtain first-hand knowledge of the best-practices in project management, equipping them with the fundamental skills and methods for effective planning and control in their projects.
PRE-REQUISITES
You should have at least 2 years of project management exposure and preferably have about 10-15 hours of dedicated project management training before taking this course. Those with more experience should attend with an open and positive attitude.
